Ringtones!, a young, vibrant barbershop quartet hailing from both sides of the US-Canadian border, formed on New Years Eve 2005. They have a combined age of 94 and come together with varying degrees of barbershop experience, from having never sung in a quartet before to having sung several times on the International Stage.

Members are Samantha Swanson (19), of Nashua, NH on tenor, Jennifer Wheaton (23), of St. Hubert, Quebec on lead, Julia Borsari (20), of Peterborough, NH on baritone and Lindsay Chartier (way older(32)) of Montreal, Quebec on bass.

The chorus comprised of women who live in and around Watertown, in Northern New York. Its members come from all walks of life, but are unified by their love of singing.  The chapter chartered with Harmony, Inc. in 1985 and has consistently competed at both the Area and International levels of competition. Recently Northern Blend WON the chorus contest at the Harmony, Inc. 51th International Contest & Convention held in Saint John, New Bruswick, Canada, making them the 2010 International Chorus Champions!  

Harmony, Inc. is a vibrant international singing organization of women who are dedicated to the performance, promotion and preservation of four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style, the celebration of friendship, personal growth and development through music and leadership education, and the practice of democratic principles.

Since 1959, the organization has expanded from its Eastern roots to include chapters in the United States and Canada from California to Newfoundland, and from Alaska to Florida.

Contests and conventions are held each year for the purposes of educating members in the performance of the craft, bringing together the membership to see the best perform, to inform the membership of the status and direction of the organization, and to encourage an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie.

A steady growth in membership, a gradual geographic expansion, continuous improvement in the quality of performances, and the determination to abide by its democratic principles and maintain its unique "Blend With Friendship", all bespeak a bright future for Harmony, Inc.

2011 INTERNATIONAL
